Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are in the process of negotiating a new labour contract. As a rotating strike is currently underway, we are working closely with financial security advisor, group insurance broker or consultant in order to keep service interruptions to a minimum.
Here are some helpful answers to FAQs:
I usually mail my cheque. How would I make my payment?
For individual insurance (life, critical illness, accident & sickness), you can easily change your payment method to a pre-authorized payment. To do so, complete the Pre-authorized Debit form and fax it to AXA along with a copy of a void cheque to 1 866 682-6825.
To know the withdrawal amount or for any other questions regarding individual insurance, you can contact either you financial security advisor or our Insured Service at 1 800 565-4550.
If you have questions regarding group insurance premium payments, please contact your group insurance broker or consultant, or our Premium Collection Team at 1 800 561-7251 ext.3260.
Despite the Canada Post conflict, will I still receive documents regarding my contract?
To get a print-out of your contract documents, please contact your advisor, group insurance broker or consultant.
How will I receive my claim cheque?
Procedures have been put in place to ensure that you receive your cheque, either by courier or through your financial security advisor, group insurance broker or consultant.
For all other inquiries relating to your insurance coverage or contract documentation, please contact your Advisor, group insurance broker or consultant.
We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and will let you know if any other steps need to be taken to ensure that our distribution services continue to run smoothly.
