Group Insurance for Excess Medical

Excess Medical plans provide 24-hour emergency accident and sickness coverage for employees and their families traveling outside their province, either for business and pleasure or for business only.

You can choose from two Great Plans

• The per trip basis plan, where only reported trips taken by the insured person during the year are covered. Individual trips should not exceed a specified period of time, typically 60 consecutive days.
• The annual premium plan, where all trips taken by the insured person during the policy year are covered. Individual trips may not exceed a specified period of time, typically 45 consecutive days.

Group Insurance for Inpatriates

Inpatriate medical plans provide medical coverage for groups of people not eligible for Canadian government hospital and medical plans while in Canada. The plan attempts to replace medical coverage only available to Canadian residents. Coverage can be provided annually or for a specific period of time.

Group Insurance for Volunteer Firefighters

They put themselves in harm’s way every day to save lives and don’t even get paid. No one is more worthy of protection!

Volunteer Firefighters insurance is designed to provide protection for volunteer firefighters whose jobs place them at serious risk.

Creditors Group Insurance

The Creditors Group Insurance is offered to fulfill the financial obligations to a creditor in the event of disability or death.

In the event of disability, the plan covers the monthly payments of the loan or lease.

In case of death, the obligations to the creditor can also be fulfilled with the Creditors Group Insurance protection. The plan covers the balance due at the moment of death
sparing the insured’s loved ones of having to provide for the payments to come.

More precisely, the balance due is the discounted value of all payments to be made until the end of the loan or lease, taking into account the contract’s applicable interest rate.
